Eileen’s Poppies

Daughter Eileen was with us last week and shot these Poppies near Roquebrun.
They are everywhere at the moment, turning whole fields bright red.

    Thanks Petra! The road was at a lower level to the field so I didn’t have to lie on the ground thankfully 🙂

    Fabulous … poppy fields are a rarity in our part of the world. It’s mainly oil seed rape around here. I’m on the lookout for a poppy field scene, like the Renoir one, to photograph. I guess I’ll have to come on holiday to France. 🙂
