The Lemon gets a Reprive

When we first saw Le Presbytere in the summer of 2006 we noticed two scrawney citrus plants in the garden, over the years they have done very little, produced no flowers or fruit so we have more or less ignored them.

We reckoned that they were planted by the nuns from pips which are notoriously difficult to fruit.

This year we were doing a bit of a garden clean up and decided to dump them, well we dumped one but the scrawnier one somehow managed to be forgotten and we have been meaning to give it the heave ho since. But, just this morning it gained a reprive, Sile found on its top branch a single scrawny bud.
Reprive!
