Strawberries with Orange and Grand Marnier

350g (12oz.) Strawberries
Zest and juice of one large Orange
2 tablespoons Caster sugar
4 tablespoons of Grand Marnier (or Cointreau or Brandy)

About two hours before you serve get the marinade ready.
Grate the zest from the orange carefully.
(You only want the outside rind of the orange greted, not the white pith, if you suspect that it might have been sprayed, and most non organic oranges are, give it a good scrub and wash before zesting)
Mix this with the liquour and one tablespoon of the caster sugar.
Taste one of the strawberries, then decide how much more sugar to put in..
Hull and slice the strawberries and let them soak in the orange for about two hours before serving.
Serve with whipped cream or with a crème brulee
