Simple Peaches

To Peel peaches just score with a knife, drop into a pot of boiling water and then put under a cold tap. The skin should come off easily now.

Fried Peaches with Brown Sugar.

Peel and slice a ripe peach then cut in slices off the stone.
Melt some unsalted butter in a pan and when sizzling slip in the peach slices. Add a teaspoon of brown sugar and a shot of brandy for each peach. Serve when the sugar has melted.
(For a real treat eat some ice cream at the same time)

Peaches in White Wine

Peel and slice the peaches and sprinkle the slices with some white sugar. Just before serving put these into wine glasses and top up with white wine.
