Dani’s White Pudding Starter

(for 4)

450g (1 lb.) White Pudding
Butter for frying
2 Crisp Eating Apples
4 slices of bread
175ml. Apple juice or Cider

(You can use any bread but not too thinly sliced and it looks pretty if cut into rounds)

Fry the slices of bread on both sides until golden and crisp. Keep these warm .

Slice the pudding and fry in butter until browned, keep warm.

Core the apples and slice into segments.
Fry these in the same pan in a little butter until golden and soft.

Put the bread on four hot plates.

Put a ring of sliced pudding on each slice of fried bread and then arrange the apple on top.
Pour the cider into the hot pan and boil for one minute.
Spoon this over the toasts and serve.
