Fionn was one last week so Caitriona and Aonghus threw him a party.
As you can see Caitriona favours the more muted colours with which
to decorate her cupcakes (they tasted great though)

Is there a difference between a cupcake and a queencake? (I love the cakestand, by the way.)

Cupcakes (USA) are it seems exactly the same as Fairy Cakes (UK) and indeed Queen Cakes (IRL)
However the modern trend to lavishly decorate these comes from America and so the American name seems appropriate.

Those colours are absolutely delirious; may they prove to be equivalent to the level of bliss and happiness in little and big Fionn’s life!
