A Birthday Song

March 13, 2010
05:41 AM

To be sung (kinda) to the tune of The Beatles
“When I’m Sixty Four”

Now that I’m older
Lost most of my hair
(And any left is white)
I’ve little fear of being locked out of the house
If I go out at night

But despite being grumpy,
Rotund and vague
I still have lots of fun
And if ye still need me
I’ll continue to feed ye
Now I’m sixty one

Jon and I are singing this in Halldene Hall and DELIGHTED that you are still prepared to feed us, even though I didn’t get posting the card. Did I ever?…still have the one for you when you were 23, but the wishes are always the same, only more so and so is the LOVE.
ps saw Fairport Convention last night and all our yesterdays returned.
