4 oz. Melted Butter
8 oz. Mincemeat
1 pkt. Filo Pastry

Peel the Apples and cut them into little cubes.
Fry these in 1oz of the butter for 2 or 3 mts. don’t cook them through.
Using a brush paint some of the melted butter on the base of the roasting tin.
Cover this with a sheet of the pastry cut to size, paint this with butter in its turn and then spread over one third of the fried apples.
Spoon over this one third of the mincemeat mixture.
Now cover this with 2 layers of buttered filo and in this way build up the layers in the tin.
